The aim of the FI(A) course is to train aeroplane licence holders to the level of proficiency necessary for the issue of a FI(A) rating and , for that purpose, to : *refresh and bring up to date the technical knowledge of the student instructor *train the student instructor to teach the ground subjects and air exercises *ensure that the student instructor’S flying is of a sufficienty high standart and *teach the student instructor the principles of basic instruction and to apply them at the PPL level
The major importance for the course ofg training to aim at giving applicants the knowledge, skills and attitudes relevant to a flight instructor’s task.
An approved FI(A) course shall comprise not less than 30 hours of flight instruction.
