PPL
An applicant for a PPL(A) licence (Private Pilot Licence) shall have completed at least 45 hours flight time as a pilot of aeroplanes and 108 hours theoretical knowledge; a total of 5 hours of this 45 hours may have been completed in a FNPT or a flight Simulator.
The applicant for a PPL(A) shall have demonstrated to the Authority a level of theoretical knowledge and the ability to perform, as pilot in command of an aeroplane, the relevant procedures and manoeuvres described in JAR-FCL and degree of competency appropriate to the privileges granted to the holder of a PPL(A).
