Dangerous Goods
Our certificate programme, which has been approved by IATA, aims to give all the personnel in air transport system of the knowledge about Dangerous Goods and its related rules and coordinated working. All the personnel in the system of air transport are considered to be a part of safety chain and they are divided into 12 categories depending on the responsibilities of the person.
In IATA DGR Table 1.5.A, personnel categories are detailed as:
1. Shippers and persons undertaking the responsibilities of shippers’, including operator’s staff acting as shippers, operators staff preparing dangerous goods as Company Materials (COMAT)
2. Packers
3. Staff of freight forwarders involved in processing dangerous goods
4. Staff of freight forwarders involved in caro (other than dangerous goods)
5. Staff of freight forwarders involved in the handling, storage and loading of cargo
6. Operator’s and ground handling agent’s staff accepting dangerous goods
7. Operator’s and ground handling agent’s staff acceptingcargo (other than dangerous goods)
8. Operator’s and ground handling agent’s staff responsible for the handling, storage and loading of cargo and baggage
9. Passenger handling staff
10. Flight crew members and load planners
11. Crew members (other than flight crew members)
12. Security staff who deal with the screening of passengers and their baggage and cargo Training duration and fees
1 - Depending on English knowledge, duration of DGR can be chosen as short term and long term.
2 - In order to determine your personnel category, contact with our instructors
3 - 1 course hour is equal to 60 minutes and 1 course day is equal to 6 hours.
4 - In the case of 80% or upper success in the exam, applied at the end of course, you will receive a valid DGR certificate approved by IATA with IATA ID number
5 - In the case of failing the exam, you will have right for a second exam. However, if you fail the second exam, before re-entry to the examinations, the applicant shall undertake further training as determined by IATA.
6 - The validity of the Dangerous Goods Certificate is 2 years / 24 months .If you do not attend recurrent course in the determined period, you will have to take initial course again.
7 - 8% VAT is included .
